Lee Yuan Siong, has been an Executive Director of the Company since June 2013, the Senior Vice President and Chief Insurance Business Officer of the Company since January 2011, the Executive Senior Vice President of the Company since January 2016, and is currently the Director of Ping An Property & Casualty, Ping An Life, Ping An Annuity and Ping An Health, the subsidiaries of the Company. Mr. Lee joined the Company in 2004 and served as the Special Assistant to the Chairman of Ping An Life from February 2004 to March 2005, President of Ping An Life from March 2005 to January 2010 and Chairman of Ping An Life from January 2007 to February 2012. Prior to that, Mr. Lee was a Senior Vice President of Prudential Taiwan Branch and the General Manager of Citi-Prudential, etc. Mr. Lee holds a Master’s degree in Finance from The University of Cambridge.

Morten Unneberg is CEO of Insurope SCRL/CVBA and Head of the Insurope Network, which is one of the leading multinational pooling networks in the world with services in more than 80 countries.

Morten has more than 20 years of experience with Employee Benefits, and has been involved in international operations for the last 10 years. Prior to joining Insurope in 2012, he was an Executive with Storebrand in Norway, one of the leading insurance companies in the Nordics. He has also held various sales and sales management positions in Norway and in the USA.

Morten has an MBA from West Virginia University and an Advanced Management degree from University of Pennsylvania (The Wharton School).

Mr. Luo joined Ping An Annuity in 2004. During his 12 years’ tenure, Mr Luo has successfully taken variable management roles. Now he is responsible for strategic planning, finance, product development, actuarial, asset liability management and corporate governance. He is assisting in corporate brand promotion and administration management. Mr. Luo has made great contributions to the cooperation between Ping An Annuity and Insurope Network. Before joining Ping An Annuity, Mr. Luo worked with Sun Life Financial in Canada.

Mr. Luo obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Probability and Statistics from Peking University, and a Master’s degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Manitoba, Canada.

Luzia Hung is Vice President, Employee Benefits of Manulife Hong Kong, and Chief Executive Officer of Manulife Provident Funds Trust Company Limited. She is leading all Manulife’s pensions and group life and health insurance businesses in Hong Kong.

She is in charge of leading and growing these two businesses and providing direction and business strategy. Her job involves overseeing new product design, pricing, sales and marketing, channel strategy, risk management and new
initiatives, and taking leadership role in liaising with the relevant regulatory authorities. Ms Hung is a member of the Hong Kong Senior Management Team.

Before joining Manulife, Ms Hung worked for a Europe based international insurance and pensions company as its Chief of Pension & Group Business, overseeing both the Pension and Group Insurance Division and was responsible for the distribution, marketing and operations management of the Retirement, Group Medical, Group Life and other general insurance businesses.

Prior to this, Ms Hung worked for a leading global financial institution for 19 years, becoming General Manager and Head of Employee Benefits before moving to Retirement Benefits following the launch of the Mandatory Provident Fund Scheme. Ms Hung spent the earlier part of her career in private bank and multinational corporations.

Ms Hung is a Director of the Manulife Provident Funds Trust Company Limited. She is also an Executive Committee member and and Chairman of the Profile and Event Sub-Committee of the Hong Kong Retirement Scheme Association as well as a Life Insurance member for the Hong Kong Federation of Insurers She also serves in the Executive Committee of the Insurope network.

Born in Macau and educated in Canada, Ms Hung holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from McMaster University in Canada.

Wei Zheng

Wei Zheng is Professor and Chair of the Department of Risk Management and Insurance at the School of Economics, Peking University, Beijing China. His bachelor, master and Ph.D. degrees of economics are from Peking University (1995, 1998 and 2003 respectively).

Dr. Zheng’s academic focus has been on insurance and social security. He has been the author of articles/chapters in the Geneva Papers on Risk and Insurance, Asia Pacific Journal of Risk and Insurance, Economic Research Journal (top 1 economics academic journal in China), Handbook of International Insurance (Springer), The Future of Insurance Regulation and Supervision (Palgrave Macmillan), etc. He has presented papers at conferences by UNCTAD (in United Nations Geneva), American Risk and Insurance Association, and Asia Pacific Risk and Insurance Association. He has been an invited speaker before numerous groups, including China Insurance Regulatory Commission, Insurance Society of China, major insurance companies and commercial banks. He has been leading a number of research projects including the ones sponsored by National Education Ministry, National Social Science Fund, State Council Census Office, China Insurance Regulatory Commission, etc.

Dr. Zheng has won numerous awards including China National Award, Beijing City Award and Peking University Award for Teaching/Course Excellence, Beijing City Award and Peking University Award for Social Science Research, Shin Research Excellence Award by the International Insurance Society and the Geneva Association (2008), etc.

Haichuan has extensive experiences in the US, Japan and China, and has assisted many Fortune 500 and China 100.  In addition to work with P&G, Nissan, Honeywell, Casio, Coca-Cola, United Airline, HSBC and other companies in Japan and U.S, he has also provided assistances to over 100 top Chinese companies in their restructuring and IPOs, including ICBC, CCB, China Railway Group, ABC, Dongfeng Motor Group, FAW, Sinotruk, China Communications Construction, China State Construction Engineering Corporation, etc.  He has also worked with Huawei, Lenovo and other top China companies in their large global M&A transactions.

Haichuan is regarded as a subject expert and has been sitting on various government advisories, providing training and advising regulation and policy changes.  He has also been a frequent speaker at numerous seminars and HR functions hosted by government institutions, universities, and business chambers.

Haichuan has been appointed as guest professor to supervise graduate students at Fudan University and China Central University of Finance and Economic and also frequently presents to EMBA students.   He has also taught graduate class at Fudan University.

Céline Ng Tong is a Regional Benefits Consulting Director based in Hong Kong. Prior to Céline’s move to Hong Kong, she was based in the Mercer New York International Consulting Group (ICG).

Céline has over 10 years of experience in consulting multinationals regarding the design and funding of their worldwide employee benefit plans. She assists clients on all aspects of international benefits, including multi-country benefit reviews, competitive benchmarking, global benefits management, multinational pooling, captive reinsurance, health and wellness strategy, mergers & acquisitions and strategy for internationally mobile employees. In her role within the ICG, Céline has assisted in the development of Mercer’s global tools and databases with respect to multinational pooling as well as best practices in global benefits management.

Céline has spoken at industry conferences on women’s global health issues and global insurance funding strategies. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Mathematics from Concordia University in Montreal and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (F.S.A.).

William (Bill) Bossany

Bill Bossany is responsible for all health reinsurance and related healthcare business development activities in China, Mongolia and the Western Pacific. He has over 30 years of international healthcare related experience, and almost 6 years health insurance experience in China.

Prior to joining Munich Re Beijing in 2007, Bill was responsible as Assistant General Manager for Munich Re’s wholly owned subsidiary, MedNet UAE in Dubai. He managed the Claims, Medical Call Center, Utilization Review and Provider Relations and Contracting units as well as worked on special projects regarding large business development issues.

Before joining Munich Re in 2006, Bill held a number of senior management positions in the health insurance and health management arena. Most recently he was Managing Director at Teal Medical, a medical supplies management company and the COO/Associate Administrator of StayWell Insurance in the Western Pacific.

Before his time in the Western Pacific; Bill worked for Kaiser Permanente Hawaii and Blue Cross in the United States. At Kaiser he was Director of Community Medical Services involved in international relations and projects for Kaiser Hawaii and was responsible for all community services, provider contracting and network management, utilization management, clinic and skilled nursing coordination, financial review, referral and claims management.

Bill holds a Masters Degree in International Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations.

He has been in the global consulting space for over 35 years and has extensive experience working with corporate HQ’s of multinationals as well as delivering on-site advice in 60 countries to subsidiaries and local companies on five continents – Asia, Europe, Middle East, Africa, North America and South America.

Wil has been based in New York and Chicago in the Americas for 18 years, in Europe for 10 years and in Asia  for 7 years providing consulting advice and managing the operations of five consulting offices on these continents.

Dr. Rajeshree Parekh (Gina) is a Physician and Senior Executive with over 18 years of clinical, managerial and consulting experience. She is Director of Health and Corporate Wellness for Asia Pacific at Willis Towers Watson, where she is responsible for strategic oversight, business development and operational excellence for the Health and Group Benefits business. Her prior roles include leading the Health & Benefits practice at Aon Hewitt in Asia-Pacific, leading Mercer India’s health and benefits practice, and  serving as Chief Operating Officer and Medical Director of United Healthcare in India.

Gina was a practicing Consultant Ophthalmologist for several years before leaving clinical medicine.

During her career, she has gained experience and expertise in areas of  health & wellness consulting, benefits design consulting, product design, strategic & operational experience in healthcare management that includes physician and hospital contracting and medical underwriting. She has authored several articles in numerous global and regional publications on various topics in healthcare.

Gina has also served as Guest Faculty at the National Insurance Academy of India, Honorary columnist for the IRDA (insurance regulator) journal, Honorary Secretary of the Indian Hospital Association and Chief Representative of Academy of Insurance Medicine  Asia.

Gina went to Medical School at the University of Bombay, where she earned an M.B.B.S., a Diploma in Ophthalmic Medicine & Surgery and a Masters in Ophthalmic Surgery. In addition to her medical education, she is also a Licentiate of the Insurance Institute of India.

Hans is the Regional Head of Compensation and Benefits at Huntsman Asia Pacific.  He is responsible for the overall C&B strategies and programs in Asia Pacific.

Hans has a bachelor degree in Business Economics and Finance, and a master degree in Human Resource Management.  He has more than 20 years of work experience in various disciplines including business, general management and human resources management.  He started as a trainer, progressed into HR consulting and eventually regional compensation & benefits with multinationals corporations.  He has worked for prestigious firms such as Hay Group, Mercer HR Consulting, Jones Lang LaSalle and Johnson Controls.

Hans has a wide breadth of experience in all aspects of HR, including recruitment, training, compensation & benefits, international assignment, job analysis & evaluation, competency assessment, performance management and HRIS.  He has trained, presented to and consulted thousands of executives and professionals across the Asia Pacific region, including many Fortune 500 companies.  His more recent engagements include creating a global grading tool, developing regional compensation frameworks, piloting flexible benefits initiatives, leading sales incentive design, and driving regional benefits review.

Dr Tong Chen is currently a consultant occupational physician for IBM Greater China. He joined IBM in 2006. Over the last 10 years, he has involved in the design, development, consultation on many health, medical, and health benefits programs and projects. He was the major contributors for the country pioneering initiatives such as hepatitis B programs, health benefits coverage for mental disorders, and HIV/AIDS etc. among many others.

Dr Chen received his Bachelor degree in Medicine from Shanghai Medical University (now Fudan University, School of Medicine). After graduation, he worked as a physician in Shanghai First People’s Hospital. He went to Finland in 1995 and received a Doctor Degree in Medicine in 2002. He worked in Helsinki University Central Hospital during 2002-2006. He published over 10 papers in peer review international medical journals. He is now the co-chair of GBGH-China group. He is also the executive member of China Occupational Health Organization (industrial group) and China Multinational Medical Council.

Steven Yu is a Director of International Consulting Group of Asia Pacific of Willis Towers Watson.  Steven is stationed in Shanghai.  He provides professional consulting services  in global governance, benefits management, M&A, actuarial, and total rewards to many multinational companies.

Steven has over 20 years of experience in employee benefits and human resources consulting in both Asia Pacific and the U.S.  He has advised many multinational companies in benefits plan design and compliance, administration, retirement planning and risk management, pre-M&A due diligence and post-M&A integration, asset liability modeling and forecast, actuarial valuations for different types of pension and health and welfare plans, and global governance of compensation and benefit programs.

Steven has assisted multinational companies in conducting China market entry study and formulating business strategies.  He also has extensive experience in helping multinational companies to design, implement, and administer their flexible benefits programs.

Steven joined Willis Towers Watson’s Shanghai office in 2007 following working at Willis Towers Watson in Philadelphia (1995) and Mercer in Princeton (2001) for  thirteen years.  Steven earned his Bachelor’s (1994) degree in Mathematics from the East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, after studying in Shanghai Jiao Tong University.  Steven is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (2003), an Enrolled Actuary under Joint Board of the U.S. Department of Treasury and Department of Labor (2001), a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (2000), and a Fellow of the China Actuarial Society (2008).
